The problem

After an initial inspection and quick test, it was clear the drain line was completely blocked with high water levels in the system. Signs pointed to more than just a standard blockage. We carried out a full CCTV survey to thoroughly inspect the issue, revealing heavy scale build-up, a section of deformed pitch fibre pipe holding water, and early signs of displaced joints.

What we did

Instead of just clearing the blockage, which many might do, we performed high-pressure water jetting to break through the obstruction and restore full flow. We then used CCTV again to confirm the line was running clear. We then sat down with the customer, showed them the footage, explained the issues, and provided preventative advice to avoid future problems. The customer was relieved, and we had a fully functional system once again.
